Technical Information

Construction
TUF-R replacement Modules are housed in fire-retardant polycarbonate. They feature LED power indicator, internal overload protection, and are independently tested to over 10,000 USB insertions/withdrawals.

Colours
Colours play an important role in both TUF recognition and compatibility. TUF-R Replacement Modules are either black (AC input) or grey (DC input), and can only be replaced with a TUF-R module of the same colour. Additionally, the canister into which the TUF-R is inserted is either blue or green. A grey TUF-R (DC input) can only be inserted into a green canister, and a black TUF-R (AC input) can only be inserted into a blue canister.
